In the death records of her son, Jacob Petrus Praamsma, she is called Antje BRANDS. This was a name also used by the Keverlings.

Ships-carpenter.  He married GEISKE JANS CORNEL May 25, 1788 in Joure, Netherlands, daughter of JAN KOENES and WYTSKE MERTENS.  She was baptized March 07, 1765 in Joure, Netherlands, and died November 03, 1852 in Joure, Netherlands. Jacob Petrus took the name PRAAMSMA in 1811 because he made and rented the small boats known as praamen. There was at one time a wharf known as the Praamsma wharf in Joure. It has since been filled with sand.

6.  MARTEN JACOBS PRAAMSMA was born April 11, 1804, April 29, 1804, in Joure, Netherlands, and died February 21, 1873 in Joure, Netherlands.  He married (1) RIGTJE JANS FEENSTRA May 24, 1829 in Joure, Netherlands, daughter of JAN FEENSTRA and FOKJE RINIA.  She was born December 27, 1803, baptized January 15, 1804 in Joure, Netherlands, and died April 24, 1863 in Joure, Netherlands.  He married (2) HIELKJE HENDRIKS MANEVELD May 01, 1869 in Ferwerderadeel, Netherlands, daughter of HENDRIK MANEVELD and DIEUWKE? SIEMSMA?.  She was born Abt. 1801 in Gaastmeer, Netherlands, and died May 04, 1877 in Joure, Netherlands. On April 5, 1824, Marten started a cabinet and furniture business  in the Midstraat in Joure. Besides furniture, he also made the wooden cabinets for Friese Klokken (clocks). His firm later became known as "De Lijmpot". He was one of the founders of the first Gereformeerde Kerk in Joure.
